General/Area Description

A good location, approximately a ten minute drive to a golf course and to the town of Bracebridge. Atkins Lake, by property owner's agreement, is restricted to electric, or, no motors on boats only. Owner reports good bass fishing in lake. Two self contained units are included in this rental. This cottage offers a modern decor, bright interior, skylights and brick fireplace. Four bedrooms (one up and three down). $ 1500 per week for 2 wk bookings and $ 1600 per week for wkly bookings.

Lot/Waterfront Description

Approximately 100 ft lake frontage. Large sandy beach apron with shallow entry and gradually sloping bottom. Sand will get soft as you walk out, but great for young children. Lots of sand above the waterline. Deep water at end of dock (6-10 ft deep). Part of dock can be floated out onto lake and used as a raft. Ladder on dock. Large well maintained lawn slopes to lake. Some steps are set into slope leading to the water. Outside firepit is available with this rental. Deck at front and side of cottage on the upper level is a great place to sun and relax. Here there is a pretty lake view.

BATH - decorated in light blue, cathedral ceiling, skylights, toilet, 2 sinks, tub/shower. DECK- 2 sides of cottage, lots of lawn furniture. Lower Level: w/o to lower patio. LR/DR - airtight woodstove, sliding glass doors to patio, table seats 4, large window. KIT - modern, ceramic tile floor, stove, fridge. 3BEDR - some new matresses in 99 (1) db, slidinng glass w/o (2) db, sliding glass w/o (3) sbb. BATH - "high-tech" black/white mirrored design, large shower stall with dual heads, halogen lighting.
